Introduction
Mahabauddha Sangh Nepal is a non-profit Buddhist organization established with the noble purpose of promoting Buddhist education, preserving Buddhist heritage, and fostering compassion, peace, and social harmony in Nepal. Guided by the teachings of Lord Buddha, the organization works to spread the values of wisdom, morality, and mindfulness while encouraging unity among people from diverse communities.
Through educational programs, cultural preservation initiatives, social service activities, and youth empowerment efforts, Mahabauddha Sangh Nepal seeks to create a more compassionate, enlightened, and harmonious society for present and future generations.

History
Mahabauddha Sangh Nepal was established in 2083 B.S. in Chitwan, Nepal, with the objective of creating a platform dedicated to Buddhist education, social service, cultural preservation, and community development.
Inspired by the principles of compassion, wisdom, and non-violence taught by Lord Buddha, the organization was founded by individuals committed to strengthening Buddhist awareness and promoting positive social transformation.
Since its establishment, Mahabauddha Sangh Nepal has been working to educate communities, preserve Buddhist heritage, support humanitarian initiatives, empower youth, and contribute to the promotion of peace and harmony throughout Nepal.
Objectives
Mahabauddha Sangh Nepal aims to achieve the following objectives:
1. Preservation and Promotion of Dharma
To protect, practice, and promote the pure teachings of Lord Buddha and encourage their application in daily life.
2. Buddhist Education and Awareness
To provide educational opportunities, study programs, and awareness campaigns related to Buddhist philosophy, history, culture, and ethics.
3. Unity and Social Harmony
To strengthen unity, cooperation, coexistence, and mutual understanding among individuals and communities regardless of caste, religion, language, or background.
4. Compassion and Social Service
To support disadvantaged, vulnerable, and marginalized groups through humanitarian and community service initiatives inspired by Buddhist compassion.

To preserve, promote, and safeguard Buddhist temples, monasteries, stupas, inscriptions, historical sites, and cultural traditions.
